Ian Wright has said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show that Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka is starting to get back his old form.

The Arsenal legend made the comments in the wake of Saka’s performance for the Gunners against West Bromwich Albion in midweek.

The 19-year-old, who can play as a winger, midfielder or left-back, scored for Arsenal in their win against the Baggies in the EFL Cup.

Wright said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show: “Saka is like starting to get his form.”

Getting back in form

Arsenal have not been in great form in the Premier League so far this season.

Mikel Arteta’s side have lost both of their games in the league, and there is pressure on the manager already.

However, the win against West Brom and the performance of the team showed that Arsenal should not be written off just yet.

Of course, it was only the EFL Cup and it was only against West Brom, but you can only beat what’s in front of you.

Saka played well against the Baggies, showed some very good movement, and linked up well with fellow attacking players.

Oh, the England international also scored a goal.

It can take some teams and some players to get going in the beginning of the season.

Perhaps that is true for Arsenal and Saka.

The teenager is a big player for Arsenal and is one of the first names on the teamsheet when fit and available.

Saka is not at his best yet, but the teenager is starting to recapture the form he showed last season.
