Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka and Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham have expressed their delight on Instagram at Oladapo Afolayan making his debut for West Ham United on Saturday.
Afolayan was in action for West Ham in their 4-0 win against Doncaster Rovers at the London Stadium in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The 23-year-old forward did not start the match, but the youngster came on as a substitute in the 70th minute.
The youngster scored the Hammers’ fourth goal in the 78th minute and has revelled in his achievement on Instagram.
Arsenal star Saka, who can play as a left-back or as a left-winger, and Chelsea striker Abraham are happy for Afolayan, while ex-West Ham star Anton Ferdinand has some advice for him.
Declan Rice: “Incredible bro ❤️”
Saka: “Yessirrrrr😍😍🔥”
Ferdinand: “Congratulations Dapo don’t rest now be ready for ur nxt opportunity 🙌🏾💪🏽”
Abraham: “My boyyyy ❤️”
Encouraging debut
Afolayan will be encouraged by his performance and his goal on his debut for West Ham.
The 23-year-old will now look to kick on, and establish himself in the first-team squad in the coming weeks and months.
Of course, it is not going to be easy, but if he trains well and make the most of the chances he will get in the FA Cup, then he could get his chance in the Premier League.
