The Clarets star has been linked with a move to the London Stadium.
Burnley striker Andre Gray has insisted that Turf Moor is the best place for him at this moment in time despite rumours of interest from West Ham United, as reported by Eurosport.
Gray has scored six goals in 18 games for the Clarets this season, including five in 15 games in his first ever Premier League campaign.
Already proven at Championship level – the 25-year-old hit 23 goals in 41 games last season to lead Burnley to promotion – he has shown that he can mix it in the big time too.
The striker has scored five of this season’s tally in the last month, and his surge in form has attracted the interest of one or two clubs this month.

The Mirror claimed at the weekend that Gray’s form has seen him rise towards the top of the list of striker targets for West Ham, who are well-known to be searching for additional firepower.
It was suggested that the Hammers would lodge an £15 million offer for the hitman, but Gray has moved to alleviate worries amongst Clarets fans that he could be set to leave Turf Moor.
Gray said, as quoted by Eurosport: “I’m happy. We’re 10th in the league and I’m playing football and scoring goals – I don’t think I could be in a better position.

“It is just what happens. If I didn’t score that hat-trick the other week [against Sunderland on New Year’s Eve] then you might not hear my name. That’s just the way that football works, I suppose.
“It’s always good to hear your name mentioned in the right way but I’m happy here and I’m settled here. We’re 10th in the league and flying high. It’s just part and parcel of football.”
Though there is often some reading between the lines to be done when a player comments on transfer speculation, Gray’s sentiments seem genuine enough.
It remains to be seen whether the striker’s head would be turned if West Ham firmed up their interest with an official bid, but for now it seems as though Gray has no intention of going anywhere.
