Some Arsenal fans on social media are rather worried after it was reported that Ben White is a target for Everton, who are reportedly ready to pay £50m for him.
The Toffees have the financial might to pay such a fee, and the fact of the matter is that there isn’t much between the two sides these days, with Arsenal finishing just two points ahead of Everton last term.
Usually, you’d say that Arsenal are a much more alluring destination, but we’ve already seen the Gunners lose one high-profile transfer tussle to a historically smaller club this summer with Emi Buendia joining Aston Villa.
Understandably, Arsenal fans are worried about these rumours linking White to Everton, especially as it looked as though they were signing the centre-back at one point.
