Kevin Davies has hailed Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.
BT Sport pundit Kevin Davies has taken to Twitter to suggest that Celtic striker Moussa Dembele ‘looks perfect’ after his performance for France Under-21’s against England.
Whilst the senior sides of England and France beat Scotland and Sweden respectively on Friday evening, it was the turn of the Under-21’s on Monday night, as the two sides met in Bondoufle.
Celtic’s Moussa Dembele
In an entertaining game, Sunderland’s Duncan Watmore put England in front with an inch-perfect chip over goalkeeper Thomas Didillon, before Celtic’s Moussa Dembele took over proceedings.
Dembele first hammered the ball past Jonathan Mitchell after being played in on goal, and then scored a sublime free kick to put France 2-1 up in the second half.

Lewis Baker responded with a free kick of his own to make it 2-2, but Wylan Cyprien continued the free kick party by scoring the winner with a long range set piece.
There was no doubting who stole the show though, as striker Dembele continued his stunning season with two more goals, having hit 16 goals in 24 games for Celtic already this term.
Celtic’s Moussa Dembele celebrates
Dembele only joined Celtic from Fulham over the summer, but speculation already surrounds his long-term future in Glasgow. The Daily Mail report that Arsenal, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are just three of the clubs interested in signing Dembele, and Celtic fans will be left wondering how long they can keep Dembele at Celtic Park.
In fact, pundit Kevin Davies – who covered England and France’s clash for BT Sport on Monday – was asked a number of questions on Twitter about Dembele after the game.
The ex-England striker suggested that Dembele ‘looks perfect’, and doesn’t see why he wouldn’t succeed in the Premier League or La Liga, but questioned just how long Dembele will be a Celtic player for, with the world’s biggest clubs no doubt looking to snap up the 20-year-old.
