Rio Ferdinand has revealed to BT Sport that Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Joe Hart turned and shouted to him about Tanguy Ndombele during the game last night.
Ndombele came off the bench when Spurs were drawing 1-1 with Wycombe Wanderers yesterday, and the Frenchman changed the game after his introduction.
Ndombele scored twice and helped to set up Tottenham’s second, as Jose Mourinho’s side ultimately picked up a 4-1 victory.
Hart had very little to do towards the end of the game, as Ndombele stole the show.
And the England international teammate even had time for a chat with Ferdinand, who was on punditry duty for BT, during their live FA Cup coverage.
“I said ‘Joe, how good is he, Joe?’ And he just turned round and said this kid’s a world beater, he could be anything. He turned around during the game and said ‘this kid is unplayable’,” Ferdinand said.

Ndombele first goal of the night was incredibly nonchalant, as he side footed home.
Spurs’s record signing saved the best until last though, as he produced a wonderful piece of skill to make an opening, and finished well in the final minute.
Ndombele will now surely start for Tottenham in their game against Liverpool on Thursday night, and his form will have to be a concern for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
