Steve McManaman has told BT Sport, during their live coverage, that Ashley Williams revealed to him that Ademola Lookman was very quiet during his time at Everton.
Lookman never quite made the grade at Goodison Park after being snapped up as a promising youngster.
Despite showing some flashes of quality, Lookman was unable to hold down a place in Everton’s squad.
The winger left Everton to move to RB Leipzig, but he also made little impact in Germany, before making a loan move to Fulham.
Since returning to England, Lookman has started to prove his talent once again – and he came back to haunt Everton on Sunday evening.
The winger helped Fulham to victory over his former side, and McManaman has suggested that he now needs to find a home.
“He probably has got a point to prove. I was speaking to Ashley about him before and he said he was quite shy at Everton,” McManaman said.

“He’s travelled around and he just needs a home at the moment. He needs to stay and play for a number of years but you can see he’s certainly a talented boy.”
If Lookman can help Fulham stay in the top flight then he may just find that home at Craven Cottage.
Scott Parker’s side’s win over Everton has raised optimism around the London club that a great escape could be possible, as they look to chase down Newcastle United.
