Owen Hargreaves has told BT Sport, during their live Europa League coverage, that Joe Willock was by far the best player on the pitch during Arsenal’s game against Molde last night.
Arsenal ran out 4-1 winners yesterday, with Willock handed another opportunity to impress in the Europa League.
The youngster seized his chance with both hands, as he helped Arsenal to a comfortable victory.
Willock scored the Gunners’ final goal in the contest, and generally impressed throughout, as his side picked up the three points.
And Hargreaves only had positive words to say about the 21-year-old after the game.
“Joe Willock was by far the best player in the game. He affected the game,” he said.
“He was always on the move. He just puts pressure on the defence.
“He made use of his day, that’s far sure. This is the next generation.”

As well as netting himself, Willock’s energy and efforts helped Arsenal force Molde into scoring two own goals.
The Gunners midfielder was a constant menace, and he is now pushing to take a more regular starting place.
Willock has scored in both of Arsenal’s last two Europa League outings and delivered man of the match displays in them both.
The Gunners are next in action against Aston Villa on Sunday, when Willock may get the opportunity to impress again.
