Even as Neymar missed out for PSG on Friday, there was no room in the squad for Hatem Ben Arfa.

Hatem Ben Arfa is not particularly enjoying himself at Paris Saint-Germain, having failed to make a single first team appearance this season.
The France international had already endured a difficult first campaign at the Parc des Princes, struggling for regular minutes under Unai Emery.
Ben Arfa had proven himself at both Newcastle United and Nice, but PSG can swallow up many a fine talent and it did so to one of the country’s most naturally gifted attackers.
And it quickly became clear in the summer that things would not improve for the 30-year-old.

PSG signed Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, pushing Ben Arfa further down the pecking order – so he now finds himself linked with a move to Leicester City, in RMC Sport, instead of featuring alongside world stars.

On Friday night, as PSG faced Ben Arfa’s former club Nice, the player was again watching from the stands.

Incredibly, he was joined there by the suspended Neymar – showing that Ben Arfa cannot even feature in Emery’s plans when his star man is absent.

There looks to be no way back for Ben Arfa and, as these pictures show, the mercurial winger did not even look to be enjoying corporate hospitality and the presence of a world star.
A switch to Leicester looks more enticing by the day.
