There’s growing speculation around Bryson DeChambeau’s future with LIV Golf, and he hasn’t given much away.

DeChambeau is signed with LIV through the 2026 season, but there are questions about whether he’ll stay or join Brooks Koepka in moving on.

It wasn’t long ago that DeChambeau commented on his contract situation, and he made it clear that nothing is finalised yet.

DeChambeau was speaking ahead of the 2026 opener in Riyadh when he addressed where things stand with LIV.

“I mean, look, it’s confidential,” DeChambeau said. “I’m not going to share too much, but the conversations are in process. We have to get to a place where both parties have a good understanding of one another.”

He did indicate that progress is being made toward an agreement: “It is getting to a place that makes sense for both sides, and I think that can happen, but you never know.”

DeChambeau is still in the thick of contract discussions with LIV, and the coming weeks are expected to play a key role in deciding whether or not he stays on.

On The Golf Channel Podcast with Rex and Lav, journalist Rex Hoggard weighed in on what losing DeChambeau might mean for LIV Golf. His take? It wouldn’t be a small loss.

He said: “That’s a big question mark, and it would come with a big pay cheque. Let’s be honest. If Bryson thinks he’s worth something that starts with a B, he’s probably gonna hold out for that.

“And I would imagine he’s going to move on because I don’t think that the public investment fund has any interest in paying those types of guarantees anymore.”

It’s no secret LIV lost one of its biggest names when Koepka walked away from his contract, but losing DeChambeau could hit even harder.

If DeChambeau decides not to renew his contract with LIV Golf, there have been suggestions that he may focus more on building his presence as a content creator on YouTube instead of continuing full-time as a professional golfer.

What’s next for Bryson DeChambeau?

DeChambeau has always been driven by competition, so it’s hard to picture him stepping away from professional golf to focus solely on YouTube.

PGA Tour player Michael Kim said he’d be shocked if DeChambeau didn’t play competitively in some form moving forward.

So much of what comes next for DeChambeau could depend on how things play out for Brooks Koepka. If Koepka is allowed back onto the PGA Tour without delay, that might be enough to convince DeChambeau to make a similar move.

But if there are hurdles in the way or if Koepka faces a lengthy wait, that could push DeChambeau closer to staying with LIV Golf. Either way, fans just want to see him back in action regularly.

Right now, there’s no clear path back, and that’s a shame for anyone who enjoys watching one of the most entertaining players in the game.
