Bryson DeChambeau left the PGA Tour in order to join LIV Golf way back in 2022.
Since that move, DeChambeau has established himself as a global superstar.
Sure, the 32-year-old has enjoyed plenty of success on the golf course, with two US Open wins, nine PGA Tour triumphs and five LIV Golf victories to his name.
However, Bryson DeChambeau‘s popularity really began to boom when he started creating content on YouTube.
The LIV Golf star has a huge following on social media and with his popularity continuing to grow exponentially among younger people, his stardom seemingly knows no bounds.
However, as far as his golf goes; is he a better player right now than he was during his PGA Tour days?

DeChambeau was the center of attention once again at The Open last week and he does seem to have this innate ability to get people talking about him wherever he goes.
With his uncanny ability to attract attention, it’s sometimes easy to forget just what a great player he is.
The two-time major winner spoke to reporters after his second round at LIV Golf UK on Friday.
DeChambeau was asked whether he is happy with his form in 2026 and he provided a really in-depth and insightful answer.
“I’m happy that — my first year out here, I was struggling quite a bit,“ the American admitted.
“I turned it around obviously later in that year in ’23. In ’22 I wasn’t really doing that great either. It’s just one of those things I feel like I’ve progressed and gotten better as a golfer in different conditions.
“It’s taken me a little bit. I wasn’t necessarily an international golfer coming out in the professional ranks. I feel like I’ve become more of a complete golfer in that regard. So you’re still always learning, yeah.
“As time has gone on out here at LIV, you’re playing around the globe quite a bit. You’re feeling and experiencing different grasses and learning how to compete under those conditions.
“I feel like, if anything, it’s made me a more well-rounded golfer and given me the ability to learn in different situations because I wasn’t fortunate to have that as a kid. I played in my area, and that’s it. I didn’t have the ability to go travel nor the money to go travel.
“I feel like this has given me a bit of a step up and leg up in my golf experience. Hopefully I can translate that to future years.“

DeChambeau responded when asked about his hopes of making up a four-shot deficit on Lucas Herbert over the weekend at LIV Golf UK.
“Lucas is playing really good,“ he admitted.
“Can’t really do much about that. It seems like he’s not really making too many mistakes. Even when he makes mistakes, the next hole, birdie. That’s what you got to do to win out here, and it’s really difficult. But there’s still 36 holes of golf left, and I’m excited for the weekend.
“Yeah, just shoot 10-under par both days. That’s what it feels like I’ve got to do. Him being four ahead, it’s not going to be an easy task. I just didn’t finish off the back nine the way I know I can.
“It was five-under par. It’s not like it was a bad round of golf. He just shot six-under and shot 11-under yesterday. There’s not much you can really do about that. It’s going to be a great battle, no matter what. I hope I can give him a battle.“
