Bryan Robson believes his former club Manchester United will challenge for the league title this season.
Bryan Robson, right
Manchester United are currently getting ready for their first campaign with Jose Mourinho at the helm after appointing the Portuguese in May.
The managerial change has had a huge impact already with the club being very busy in the transfer window and picking up silverware at the first time of asking.
Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba have joined a side that won the Community Shield against Leicester City on Sunday with the former three all playing a part.

Arguably the best midfielder to grace Old Trafford, Bryan Robson, via United’s official website, is convinced United will be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title, despite a fifth-placed finish last term.
Speaking in an interview with United’s official website, Robson said: “Yes [United are one of the favourites for the title].
“When you add the new signings to the players we already had at the club — the youngsters like Martial and Rashford should improve again this season and the top-class international players — it looks a nicely balanced squad at this moment in time.
“Everyone should be quite excited going into the season.”

The team struggled under David Moyes and Louis van Gaal, but now under Mourinho things are likely to change. The club have made a huge statement over the summer and the fear factor is returning.
United kick off their league campaign with a long trip south to Bournemouth this Sunday as they look for a good start to justifying bold claims like Robson’s, but with the player’s at Mourinho’s disposal, things could be about to get very exciting at Old Trafford after three disappointing years.
