Ian Henderson put the home team in the lead after 28 minutes, but Jack Ross’s side restored parity through Charlie Wyke on 56 minutes.
George Honeyman scored the winner for the visiting team in the 89th minute, and 29-year-old Oviedo – who can operate as a left-back or as a left-sided midfielder – has taken to Twitter to revel in the victory.
