Gary Neville has praised Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil on Sky Sports Premier League (6:19pm, September 26, 2021) for his performance against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The former Manchester United defender believes that Gil was a bright spark for Tottenham after coming on as substitute against Arsenal in the North London derby.

The Gunners got the better of Spurs 3-1 at home in the Premier League this evening.

Gil, who joined Tottenham in the summer transfer window, came on as a substitute in the 70th minute.

Neville said about Gil on Sky Sports Premier League (6:19pm, September 26, 2021): “Gil’s been a bright spark since he has come on for Spurs.”

How did Bryan Gil play?

Gil looked lively after coming on against Arsenal and did add creativity to the Tottenham attack.

The 20-year-old Spain international winger played an important role in the goal that Spurs scored.

The youngster tried to push Nuno’s side forward and was a problem for the Arsenal defenders.

Gil had a pass accuracy of 76.9%, took 22 touches, attempted two dribbles, and put in one cross.

The former Sevilla winger is only 20, and it could take him a while to become a regular in the Tottenham first team.

The signs are very positive indeed, and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful will hope to see more from him in the coming weeks and months.
