Real Madrid are reportedly keen on signing Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes as a replacement for Manchester United-bound Casemiro – and the Toon midfielder has posted a six-word message on Twitter amid the reports.
Bruno, 24, has instantly become a fan favourite at Newcastle after joining the club from Lyon in January. Playing 17 times in the second half of the season, the Brazil international scored five goals from the middle of the park.
He has helped Newcastle pick up four points from their opening two games this time around. Eddie Howe’s side have also kept two clean sheets against Nottingham Forest and Brighton – but face Manchester City this weekend.
Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Casemiro is leaving Real Madrid, with a move to Manchester United imminent. Reports from Spain claim Madrid will go after Bruno as his replacement, despite numerous options in midfield.
