Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers signed Bruno Alves in the summer transfer window. The Gers defender was Pedro Caixinha’s first summer signing.

Rangers defender Bruno Alves has told The Telegraph that he will consider his future at the club.
Alves joined Rangers in the summer transfer window and was expected to be a massive hit at the Ibrox club.
The 36-year-old central defender arrived at Ibrox with a strong reputation, having won league titles with FC Porto, Zenit Saint Petersburg and Fenerbahce.
The centre-back was also part of the Portugal team that won the European Championship in France in 2016.
Alves, though, is struggling for playing time at Rangers at the moment and has also been left out of the team under caretaker-manager Graeme Murray.

The Portugal international, who was the first signing of then Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha in the summer transfer window according to The Telegraph, has admitted that he will consider his future in the January transfer window.
According to The Telegraph, Alves could hand in a transfer request in order to leave and play regularly so that he can be part of the Portugal national football team for the 2018 World Cup finals.

“I also respect all the other players who are fighting for the position, but I have my own ambition,” Alves told The Telegraph. “I am still playing for the national team and I need to play.
“We have a World Cup soon and I need to play and be fit. This is important for me, not just to help Rangers, but I also want to help myself to go to the World Cup.
“I like to play. If I don’t have space here or if I don’t play, I need to think about my future or about what’s going to happen next. I am happy playing.”
