The Olympic medal winners are back in Yorkshire.

Olympic triathlon heroes the Brownlee brothers have been speaking about their plans now they have some time off, with Championship side Leeds United clearly on the agenda.
This summer Alistair Brownlee and Jonathan Brownlee won gold and silver medals at the Rio Olympics. They also recently confirmed their position among Yorkshire and national folklore when Alistair helped his younger brother, suffering with major fatigue, cross the finish line in a triathlon meet in Mexico.
The siblings are from Dewsbury in West Yorkshire and are Leeds United followers.

Speaking on their victory tour in Leeds this week the silver medallist Jonny had this to say, as reported by the Daily Mail:
“I am definitely looking forward to a bit of rest now and getting away from things a little bit.
“Hopefully I will catch up with school friends and go and watch Leeds United and do as many normal things as I can.
“There is so much going on but you do feel the Yorkshire support. On the side of the roads in Rio most flags were probably Great Britain and Yorkshire was probably the second most popular flag.’
“It has been very special. It makes you proud to be from Yorkshire.”
Alistair, well he is looking forward to a good brew and putting his feet up:
“Just coming home and closing the door and being able to sit down and have a cup of tea.
“I’m going to enjoy the simple things, just being home.”
Leeds and Yorkshire had a fantastic Olympic games and now the football team will be hoping to put a smile on local faces in the weeks and months to come.

Garry Monk’s side recently won four games on the bounce but suffered a close defeat against Bristol City in the Championship this week.
They will no doubt be hoping to put a smile on the Olympians faces when they take on Barnsley at Elland Road this afternoon.
