Carlos Corberan has named his Leeds United U23 side for tonight’s crunch game at Colchester United.

Leeds can clinch the Professional Development League North title with a win against the U’s, after rivals Burnley suffered defeat at Bristol City earlier today.

But they will have to do so without three of their recent regulars, Aapo Halme, Alfie McCalmont and Mateusz Bogusz due to international call-ups, while recovering first-teamer, Jack Clarke, is only on the bench.

Two members of Marcelo Bielsa’s squad do however make Corberan’s starting XI, in the shape of Jamie Shackleton and Izzy Brown.

Leeds’ other starters are Kamil Miazek, Bryce Hosannah, Pascal Struijk, Hugo Diaz, Clarke Oduor, Callum Nicell, Jordan Stevens, Kun Temenuzhkov and Ryan Edmondson.

Youngsters Joshua Rae and Oliver Casey are named among the substitutes, which also include Robbie Gotts and Leif Davis.
