Arsenal star Aaron Ramsdale’s brother has explained on Twitter that the goalkeeper celebrated the win for the Gunners in front of the Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium because he grew up a West Bromwich Albion fan.

Mikel Arteta’s side got the better of Wolves 1-0 away from home in the Premier League on Thursday evening.

Brazilian defender Gabriel scored the only goal of the match in the first half.

Forward Gabriel Martinelli was sent off in the second half.

Ramsdale was in goal for Arsenal, and, as he has been doing all season, the England international played well between the posts.

After the match, the former Sheffield United and Bournemouth goalkeeper celebrated in front of the Wolves fans.

Ramsdale’s brother, Edward, has explained on Twitter that the Arsenal goalkeeper celebrated the win like he did because he grew up a West Brom fan.

Wolves and West Brom are rivals and contest the Black Country derby.
