Brooks Koepka has decided to troll his fellow professional Bryson DeChambeau after his missed cut at the US Open.

His sly dig on social media towards the LIV Golf player comes despite Koepka missing the cut at Shinnecock Hills too.

The cut line was set at four-over after two days of the major championship, with DeChambeau finishing on five-over after 36 holes.

It represents his third successive missed cut at a major, after which DeChambeau posted a lengthy video on his YouTube channel to discuss his worrying form on the big stage.

And PGA Tour player Koepka, who left LIV Golf at the end of 2025, has now shared his reaction to the video.

Where do you think Bryson DeChambeau will be playing in 2027?

His LIV contract is up this year…

DeChambeau’s honest, 34-minute assessment of his game has already amassed over one million views in three days.

And among those sharing the video was Zire Golf on Instagram, with Koepka simply commenting underneath the post: “Cool story.”

The two-word comment, from his official Instagram account, has gained over 5,000 likes.

Of course, Koepka and DeChambeau have historically not seen eye-to-eye in their careers, with their tussle seemingly stemming back to the 2019 Dubai Desert Classic.

The former didn’t mention the latter by name, but his comments on slow play were very likely aimed at his fellow American.

Their drama on and off the course has now continued with Koepka’s brief but damning response to his latest update, even though the PGA Tour man finished the US Open on 10-over.

DeChambeau is no stranger to poking fun at himself, having shared a photo with his thumbs up at Shinnecock Hills on his Instagram just before the US Open, adding the caption: “Like this post if you think I’m going to make my first cut.”

What did Bryson DeChambeau say of his game after another major missed cut?

DeChambeau has suffered a dramatic decline in recent times, having twice won the US Open before his dip in form.

He emerged victorious at the major in 2020 and 2024, but is clearly out of sorts after this third missed cut of the major season.

Within the lengthy assessment of his struggles, the American said of his missed cuts: “Not good enough golf. We could say it’s unlucky. We could say bad judgment. We could say bad swings and all that.

“But ultimately it comes down to me making better decisions, having a couple of things go more my way, and me being more comfortable over the golf ball, and not holding it off.

“And knowing why I have that miss, knowing why I’m missing it, and then working on speed with my putting, working on my wedges, getting a better combo so that it’s not as erratic.

“So even though I wasn’t hitting it my best off the tee – I was still number one in driving off the tee, which is crazy. My iron play is just something I’ve got to work on, man. I’ve got to get it better.”

Intriguingly, the opposite almost played out for DeChambeau just last season.

He did admittedly miss the cut at the US Open, but finished T2 at the PGA Championship, T5 at The Masters, and T10 at The Open Championship in a truly superb major year.
