Brooks Koepka made the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open, providing him with several positive takeaways from his first week back on the PGA Tour.
The five-time major champion heads into Sunday tied for 61st, following a second round of 73.
Despite making the cut, he had a frustrating day, recording four bogeys and one double bogey.
Brooks Koepka admits to struggling with one part of his game at Farmers Insurance Open

Sunday’s final round is not likely to offer much in terms of motivation for Koepka, who has little left to play for. But there is one thing he will be glad to leave behind when the week wraps up.
Data Golf reported that the five-time major winner lost over five strokes to the field on the greens during the third round, and no player ranked lower in that area on Saturday.
After his round, Koepka spoke openly about how tough it has been to find any rhythm with his putting this week.
He said: “Playing well. Putting, I’ve never felt comfortable on poa. You just miss a few and you’ve got zero confidence.
“I don’t know, today I felt every three, four-footer was slightly downhill and I felt like it kind of went a little bit of both ways. I tried to firm them all and take the break out to still be aggressive like I normally am, but I wasn’t even hitting the hole. I don’t know, I’m just going to chalk it up to just a bad day, but I’m happy with everything else.”
Brooks Koepka’s putting numbers on LIV Golf
It is not entirely clear how much of Koepka’s struggles are down to the poa annua greens. What is certain, though, is that it has been a tough week with the putter for the former world number one.
Putting has not been a strong point for the 35-year-old lately either. Data Golf shows he lost strokes with the putter in both of his last two seasons on LIV Golf.
It is something worth keeping an eye on going forward. While it is unlikely he will struggle this much every week, it may be wise not to completely dismiss what happened at Torrey Pines.
