Bronny James shares his true thoughts on his father LeBron potentially joining the Warriors

Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James was confronted over the rumors that his father, LeBron, might join the Golden State Warriors for next season.

With LeBron’s free agency entering its third week, everyone is getting impatient with the 41-year-old superstar’s long decision-making process.

With reports listing the Warriors among five final destinations that LeBron is considering, his son Bronny has weighed in on that potential move.

Bronny James reacts to LeBron potentially joining the Warriors

A fan saw Bronny on the street and asked him if he thinks LeBron is going to join the Warriors. Bronny made it clear that he doesn’t know what his dad is planning on doing while reacting to the potential Warriors move.

“I don’t know where he’s going. That’d be crazy if he did.”

We can’t really draw anything from this interaction as an indication of LeBron’s decision.

Bronny calling a Warriors move ‘crazy’ could mean multiple things. It could be crazy in a negative sense with LeBron joining his biggest career rival, or crazy in a good way with watching LeBron and Steph Curry team up for an entire season.

If LeBron joined the Warriors, he and Bronny would be divisional rivals and likely become the first father-son duo to play with and against each other.

LeBron James’ joining the Warriors would indeed be crazy for a number of reasons

Bronny calling LeBron on the Warriors crazy was actually the perfect response.

From a winning perspective, the Warriors look the worst out of the five options.

This is a roster that missed the Playoffs and has made zero changes while waiting for Jimmy Butler to recover from a torn ACL and then push for a title in the final half of the season.

That’s not a winning recipe, and if winning another title is the goal, it’d be crazy for him to join the Warriors.

The same would apply to his legacy as his generation’s GOAT, as joining the Warriors means he’ll join up with the man and the team who beat him in three NBA Finals. He and Curry both have four rings, so it might dampen James’ status as the singular challenger to Michael Jordan’s status.

But, this would also be crazy in terms of the phenomenal basketball it can lead to with James and Curry together. If the franchise was to bite the bullet and acquire Anthony Davis, it’d be an even crazier situation.
