Britt Assombalonga has moved from Nottingham Forest to Middlesbrough
Britt Assombalonga has completed his transfer from Nottingham Forest to Middlesbrough.
Assombalonga is regarded amongst the best strikers in the Championship, but missed more than a year of action due to a serious knee injury suffered in early 2015.

Last season he was often in and out of the side as he battled to keep fit, but was on hand to score on the last day of the season to ensure Forest were not relegated.
Assombalonga spent three years at Forest in total, and had a short message for fans of the club after his transfer was completed.
He told Boro’s official website: “I want to thank the Forest fans for being behind me, especially after my injury.
“They gave me a chance in the Championship and I want to say thanks to them and wish them all the best for the season.”

Assombalonga is the second striker signed by Middlesbrough this week, with Garry Monk adding Martin Braithewaite from Toulouse, and the now former Forest ace is his fifth addition in total.
