Nottingham Forest picked up a big three points yesterday as they defeated Rotherham United at the City Ground.

It came on a day they made some brilliant signings in the transfer market and it was, generally, a good day at the office for the club.

Britt Assombalonga certainly enjoyed himself. He got a new strike partner in Ross McCormack and also scored both goals as Forest defeated the Millers.

The goals took his tally for the season to eight in 17 appearances in what has been a campaign disrupted by injury and fitness concerns.

But he was more bothered after the game in the talented 17-year-old who played up front with him.

Ben Brereton has been smashing in the goals for the Nottingham Forest youth-team this season and is clearly a hot prospect for the future at the City Ground.

Assombalonga certainly sees a big future for the teenager, who was making his full debut in the tie:

Brereton is certainly one of the hot prospects that Forest fans are expecting much from in the years to come. Hopefully he can become a star at the City Ground.
