Queens Park Rangers should make a move for Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga in the summer transfer window.

Queens Park Rangers’ 2016-17 season may be virtually over, but they will certainly be looking to make a massive impact next season.
Rangers will be aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship next season, and they are likely to make signings in the summer transfer window.
One area that Ian Holloway’s side could do with some reinforcement is in attack.
Idrissa Sylla is QPR’s top scorer in the Championship this season with just eight goals, while Conor Washington has found the net only six times in the league this campaign.
The signing of Matt Smith from Fulham in the January transfer window was very important, but Rangers could do with another proven goalscorer.
Making a move for Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga in the summer transfer window would not be a bad idea for Rangers.
At 24, Assombalonga has his best years ahead of him. True, the striker is still not at his best and probably needs some more time to return to his best, but there can be no denial that he is a stunning player when fit.
The former Peterborough United striker has scored nine goals and created eight chances in 23 Championship appearances for Forest so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, Assombalonga was able to play only two Championship matches, while in 2014-15, he scored 15 goals in 29 league appearances.
It is clear that when Assombalonga is fit, he scores goals, and he would prove to be a valuable signing for QPR.
Although the striker’s current contract with Forest runs until June 2021, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the Reds may not be in a position to challenge for the top six next season, and Rangers should take advantage of this situation.
