The Bristol City right-back Jack Hunt has reunited with two of his old Sheffield Wednesday teammates on holiday.

Wednesday sold Hunt to the Robins in July, shortly after he entered the final 12 months of his contract at Hillsborough.

But the 27-year-old has kept in touch with at least two Owls players, joining Sam Winnall and Adam Reach in Dubai this week.

The trio were pictured on Reach’s Instagram yesterday (Tuesday) using the pool at the city’s Five Palm Jumeriah Hotel & Resort.

The Sheffield Wednesday winger revealed ahead of the Owls’ visit to Bristol City in October that he speaks to Hunt every “couple of days”, telling the Star: “I keep in touch with Jack Hunt and he says they’re a good side and capable of doing well. It will be nice to see him.

“I speak to him every couple of days. He’s enjoying it down there. He’s a top Championship player. He was a brilliant servant for this club.”

Reach and Hunt have been regulars for their respective clubs this season, although Winnall has not played since February due to various injuries.

The striker is not expected to return until mid-December at the earliest.
