Tottenham Hotspur have an interest in Alex Scott but Bristol City are hiking his price up to around £25million with Wolverhampton Wanderers keen.

That’s according to talkSPORT, who claim that the Championship club have now slapped a staggering price tag on their teenage star.

It’s claimed that Bristol City are trying to fend off interest from Bournemouth and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Tottenham are also understood to be keen but that £25million price tag is surely a problem for any Premier League club.

The report notes that Bristol City will likely have to bring their valuation down if Scott is to secure a move to the top-flight.

Bristol City won’t exactly want that to happen but it will be fascinating to see their stance if a Premier League club slaps more than £10million on the table.

Who is Tottenham target Alex Scott?

Scott, 19, was born in Guernsey and actually spent time in the ranks of Southampton and the aforementioned Bournemouth.

The midfielder ended up playing for Guernsey down in the Isthmian League as he had to start from non-league action.

Bristol City pounced to sign Scott in December 2019 and that decision has proven to be an absolute masterstroke.

Scott has now played 71 games for Bristol City, bagging four goals and seven assists in the process.

That’s a lot of games for a teenager, and he has learned plenty in the Championship having played in a number of midfield roles and even out wide.

Compared to Jack Grealish for his style of play, Scott looks destined for the Premier League one day and this isn’t the first time Tottenham have been linked.

London World claimed in March of last year that Tottenham Hotspur had pushed themselves to the front of the queue for Scott.

Tottenham still seem to be interested but any deal will hinge on Bristol City bringing down their demands.
