Sheffield United, Leeds United and Bristol City have been linked with Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent in the January transfer window.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that City manager Lee Johnson has won the race to sign Kent on loan from Liverpool for the rest of the season.

The 21-year-old joined SC Freiburg on loan from the Reds in the summer of 2017 and was expected to remain at the German club for the 2017-18 campaign.
However, the winger did not get enough changes at the Bundesliga outfit, and Liverpool recalled him from his loan spell in Germany.
The Daily Mail reported earlier this month that Sheffield United wanted to sign Kent on loan from Liverpool in the January transfer window and had launched a loan bid.
The Bristol Post has reported of Derby County and Leeds United’s interest in the youngster.

However, it now seems, according to The Sun, that the highly-rated and promising young winger will join City.
The Robins are going strong in the Championship at the moment and are very much in the race for a place in the playoffs.
Kent is a very talented and promising young winger who would have been a great signing for United, Derby or Leeds, but it seems that City have won the race to his signature.
