Bristol City signed Nathan Baker from Aston Villa today, and that could open the door for Aden Flint to join Leeds United.
Bristol City fans are concerned that Nathan Baker’s arrival could cause Aden Flint to leave this summer.
Flint has been heavily linked with a move away, with Leeds United among the interested parties.
Leeds have been quoted a high price for Flint, according to the Bristol Post.
Yet Robins fans are concerned that Baker’s signing from Aston Villa opens the door for Flint’s exit.
If Flint was to move to Leeds, he would be strengthen the Whites’ defensive options considerably.
Leeds currently have just three centre-backs available to them, in the shape of Pontus Jansson, Liam Cooper and Matthew Pennington.
Flint has proven himself to be a reliable defender at Championship level during his time with Bristol City.
The 28-year-old has now made 200 appearances for Bristol City, scoring on 29 occasions.
