Bristol City boss Lee Johnson has played an integral role in bringing some positivity back to Ashton Gate over the last few months, with the club positioned firmly in the top six following the first 11 games. With such a bright start, it is frightening to consider that there is even more to come from the Robins. As reported by the Bristol Post, manager Johnson has insisted the best is yet to come from youngster Josh Brownhill.
Brownhill has excelled more away from home so far this season, and the 21-year-old played particularly well in the second half of the club’s 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest last week.
“Josh is such a good player. I feel a bit sorry for him, because I don’t think the fans at home have really got to grips with what Josh is.

“You’d trust him with your life – he will head anything and he will tackle anything. He’s one of those players you know you can take to war with you.
“He’s really good on the ball in any position, whether he is playing in central midfield, in the number 10 role or at right-back. He always gives 100 per cent and you need players like that.”

Most Bristol City fans could not have dreamed of such a positive start to the campaign, although some would have been wary of the League One momentum that teams tend to bring up once they get promoted.
Johnson’s men return to action on Friday when they travel to face rivals Cardiff City.
