Amid speculation linking defensive pair with Leeds, Bristol City say they have received no bids.

Bristol City boss Lee Johnson has moved to insist duo Joe Bryan and Aden Flint are not on their way out of the club.

The duo have been linked with moves to Leeds United, with the Bristol Post reporting their interest.

As HITC Sport reported, Flint had added to speculation by liking a Tweet suggesting Leeds make a move to sign him.

Speaking after Tuesday night’s pre-season friendly, City boss Lee Johnson insisted no bids have been received for either of the pair.

Leeds are after both a centre-back and a left-back, as they look to replace Kyle Bartley and Charlie Taylor.

The Bristol Post had reported last week that the duo could cost as much as £12 million combined, which would essentially rule Leeds out of buying both.

The Express had published a report on Tuesday citing website The 4th Official claiming Leeds had submitted a bid for Flint – but Johnson’s comments sets the record straight.
