Released by West Ham United in June, Collins was spotted at Bristol City’s 3-0 win at Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday.

A former West Ham United defender was present as Bristol City beat Queens Park Rangers 3-0 at Loftus Road on Tuesday, according to the Bristol Post.
James Collins is out of work after leaving West Ham at the end of last season and could sign for either Bristol City or QPR ahead of next Friday’s deadline for loans and free transfers.
There is no suggestion yet, however, as to which of the two is Collins’ most likely destination. But both clubs’ fans appear keen to snap him up.
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
A move to QPR would allow Collins to remain in the London area, where he has resided for the past six years – and another four during a previous spell on West Ham’s books.
Joining Bristol City, however, would move the 34-year-old significantly closer to his roots in Newport, south Wales.
Will it be Bristol City, QPR or someone else that gets their hands on the former West Ham man?
