Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic, Bristol City, Birmingham City, Hibernian and Heart of Midlothian all have been linked with Dundee-owned Scott Bain.

Bristol City and Birmingham City are interested in signing Celtic goalkeeper Scott Bain in the summer of 2018, according to The Scottish Sun.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers reportedly want to make Bain’s loan deal from Dundee permanent at the end of the season.

Hibernian and Heart of Midlothian have been interested in the 26-year-old, and now Championship duo City and Birmingham have joined the race for the former Aberdeen prospect, according to the report.

Task now harder for Celtic

Bain made his debut for Celtic last weekend, as he produced a brilliant performance against Rangers at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby.

With as many as four clubs claimed to be interested in the 26-year-old, Celtic could have find it hard to secure his services in the summer transfer window.

Perhaps the main challenge will come from Bristol City, who are in the running for the Championship playoff spots in England.

If Lee Johnson’s side get promoted to the Premier League for the 2018-19 campaign, then they could be very tempting for Bain.
