Tottenham Hotspur drew 1-1 at Watford on Saturday afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur’s sticky run of form continued on Saturday afternoon as they could only muster a 1-1 draw away at Watford.
Having picked up just one point in three games since the international break, Spurs had slipped well of the pace in the race for the Premier League title, and needed to get back on track at Watford.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men fell behind for the fifth consecutive game, as Tom Cleverley’s corner was met by an unmarked Christian Kabasele, heading home the opener.

After a Watford penalty shout was snubbed, Tottenham went down the other end to equalise, as Christian Eriksen picked out Son Heung-min to tap home from close range for the leveller.
Spurs attempted to press for a winner but saw Davinson Sanchez receive a red card in the second half for a foul on Richarlison, and Pochettino had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Vicarage Road.
A number of Spurs players continue to struggle during his disappointing run, and playmaker Dele Alli remains a talking point after another underwhelming performance against the Hornets.

Fans took to Twitter during and after Saturday’s game to slam the midfielder, suggesting that Pochettino is making questionable decisions right now – and one of them is continuing to play Alli despite having ‘three good halves of football all season’.
Some praised his effort in midfield, but many were again left wondering what has happened to the England international, even calling for him to be sold in January as he brings the rest of the team down, with one fan even thinking that reclaiming their £5million outlay would be a good deal for Tottenham.
