Aston Villa fans on Twitter are pleased to hear that they will seemingly have £100 million to spend this summer and they want a good chunk of it spent on a striker.
The Mirror (02/08 page 66) has claimed that Villa want to add four new signings to their squad and Dean Smith will have more to spend if he has to part ways with his star man Jack Grealish.
Villa survived relegation to the Championship by the skin of their teeth and it’s pretty evident now that they need to add Premier League experience to their squad.
The Villa Park faithful have pointed out that a new striker is needed, with ex-loanee, Tammy Abraham, a name that has been mentioned by the fans.
A lot was made of the club spending over £100 million last summer, but that was needed just to add depth to a pretty thin and out-of-balance squad.
Now, Smith can focus on certain areas, and rather than just bringing the numbers in, he can look at the positions that need addressing the most.

Villa fans feel a new striker is perhaps the key area that needs to be filled, as there isn’t much time from now and until the new Premier League campaign kicks off.
