Millwall fought back to claim a draw and face a troubled Aston Villa this weekend.

Millwall scored two late goals to claim an impressive draw away at Nottingham Fores last night.

An injury time goal from Lee Gregory ended an unwanted run of three straight defeats.

Millwall have not won in the Championship since August and sit in 22nd place with just seven points.

The draw has lifted the side’s confidence and the team are already looking forward to the match with Aston Villa at the weekend.

Aiden O’Brien summed up the mood after the game with a post on Twitter, saying the Millwall squad hope this will be a turning point.

Millwall have been stuck in a poor rut of form this season after a poor start but this squad does have quality.

Neil Harris’ side pushed for a play-off spot last season ad are better than their record suggests.

This weekend they face an Aston Villa side in disarray after they sacked manager Steve Bruce yesterday.

With Millwall recapturing their fighting spirit, Villa’s week could be about to get worse.
