Arthur Masuaku has jokingly urged Manuel Lanzini to ‘bring Messi in’ after West Ham posted a picture of their playmaker on their Instagram account.

West Ham were celebrating the countdown to the new campaign by posting pictures of their players on Instagram, and when they posted one of Lanzini, this is what Masuaku had to hilariously say:

“#AgentLanzini bring Messi in,” he said, added with the eyes and laughing emoji.

Lionel Messi’s future at Barcelona has been the talk of the footballing world in recent weeks and it has now been well-documented that he wants to leave the Nou Camp.

A lot still needs to happen for Messi to leave Barcelona, but after years and years of ripping teams to shreds in the colours of the Catalan giants, it now seems that his formidable reign could be coming to an end.

If Messi does leave Barca then there will only be a handful of clubs capable of taking him on – mainly because of the potential fee they will have to pay for his services and his wages.

It would seem that only Manchester City would be able to sign him up from the teams in the Premier League, as a reunion with Pep Guardiola could be on the cards.

Despite such talk about Messi’s future, given the complications and the politics surrounding it all, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s still a Barca player by the time the summer transfer window slams shut.
