Some Arsenal and Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Said Benrahma against Derby County on Saturday afternoon.

Benrahma scored twice for Brentford in their 3-1 victory over Derby away from home at the Pride Park Stadium in the Championship.

The 24-year-old winger found the net in the 49th minute and then again on 64 minutes, as the Bees remain in the hunt for automatic promotion to the Premier League.

The winger has scored 17 goals and provided eight assists in 40 Championship matches for the Bees so far this season, according to WhoScored.

Foot Mercato reported in June of interest in the Algeria international from Arsenal.

The French publication has claimed that West Ham United, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Leicester City are also eyeing the former Nice player.

Villa were also linked with a move last year, with Sky Sports reporting that the Villans made a number of bids for winger in the summer of 2019, but did not match Brentford’s £20 million valuation.

The same report in December 2019 claimed that Villa wanted the Algerian in January 2020, but nothing materialised.

Some Arsenal and Villa fans have given their take on the performance of Benrahma on Twitter.
