Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter to Heung-Min Son and Moussa Sissoko embracing one another after the full-time whistle at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

Antonio Conte’s side secured a late 1-0 win over Watford, with Sissoko coming up against his former side for the second time this season.

In the summer, the France international left Spurs on a free transfer and joined the newly-promoted Hornets

And despite the heartbreaking defeat for Sissoko’s side yesterday, he still found enough time to acknowledge his former teammates, especially Son.

This was picked up by Tottenham’s official Twitter account, who posted a picture of the duo, with the following caption.

It was only a number of years ago that Sissoko was partnering Harry Winks in the middle of the park as Spurs were competing in the Champions League final.

And the Tottenham faithful would bite your hand to be in that position now because they have fallen a long way since.

Yesterday’s late win helps matters because they are still unbeaten under Antonio Conte in the Premier League and they have won five games since he was appointed.

As a result, they are sitting two points behind fourth-placed Arsenal and have two games in hand on their rivals.
