Arsenal fans lauded Serge Gnabry’s performance on Tuesday evening after he was involved in all five goals during Bayern’s 5-0 thrashing of Stuttgart.

The 26-year-old scored a hat-trick and supplied two assists for his table-topping side.

From that showboating teenager that tried breaking into Arsenal’s ranks to showcasing power, precision and finishing like he has a Playstation controller in hand in the colours of Bayern, it has been some rise for Gnabry.

Arsenal’s decline over the years doesn’t help the cause of the supporters in watching this once struggling wonderkid now fulfil his talents and become one of the most feared forwards in the world.

A lot of fans will ask questions as to why Arsenal let him go to Werder Bremen for little money in 2016.

But not many thought that he would reach such heights and prove so many people wrong – still, perhaps patience was still in order.

It does hurt Arsenal fans that they once had a player of his ilk on their books and they let him go for next to nothing.

But they appreciate what he is now producing on a weekly basis in the Bundesliga and the trophies he is now adding to his cabinet.

This season, Gnabry has played 23 games in all competitions for Bayern, scoring 11 goals and supplying six assists.

Even though two English sides reached the Champions League final last season, and many are backing the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool to thrive again.

If there is anyone else in Europe that can stop the English train from picking up any more European silverware this term then it’s Bayern.

Here is a selection of Arsenal fans reacting to Gnabry’s performance:
