Jamie Carragher thinks West Ham have had a transfer masterstroke by bringing in Jarrod Bowen, as per his comments to Monday Night Football, which was broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Bowen scored West Ham’s winner against Aston Villa on Monday, as he flicked in a header from a Said Benrahma cross.
The attacker got across his man well, as he found the back of the net for the fourth time this season.
And Carragher thinks that West Ham’s signing of Bowen has proven to be an excellent one.
“He’s been a brilliant signing, him,” Carragher said.
“He’s just one of those players who just nicks a goal every three or four games, you always see him on the scoresheet and again he gets a vital goal for them.”
West Ham paid £22 million to bring in Bowen from Hull City last January (Guardian), and he has quickly become a key player for the club.

David Moyes has backed Bowen to start in every one of West Ham’s 10 Premier League games so far this term, and he is quickly become one of the Hammers’ biggest attacking threats.
His value has surely risen since his move to the London Stadium, with the 23-year-old now clearly proving his ability to play at the top level.
Bowen and West Ham will next be in action against Manchester United at the weekend, when they will be looking to make it four wins on the spin.
