Kyle Walker has posted on his Instagram story that Tottenham Hotspur manager target Vincent Kompany has done a ‘brilliant’ job at Burnley.
On Friday, Burnley earned promotion to the Premier League after beating automatic hopefuls Middlesbrough at the Riverside and they backed it up by seeing off second-placed Sheffield United on Monday night.
From 40 games this season, Vincent Kompany has helped mastermind 90 points for the Clarets, who have lost only two games in the league this season and they are well on course to secure 100+ points.

The Manchester City legend, who played alongside Kyle Walker during his days at the Etihad, has received plaudits, left, right and centre for the job he is doing at Turf Moor.
After sacking Antonio Conte, Spurs are looking for a new manager for next season, with fans wanting a return of positive and forward-thinking football, it’s something Kompany has showcased at Burnley – that’s probably why Spurs are looking to hire him.
Well, former Spurs right-back Walker applauded the former centre-back on his IG story on Monday: ‘Congrats on promotion, skipper @vincentkompany. A brilliant job.’

WHO WILL BE TOTTENHAM’S NEXT MANAGER?
Many names are being tipped to be the next man in Tottenham’s dugout, from the recently-sacked Bayern Munich coach, Julian Nagelsmann to a possible return for, Mauricio Pochettino.
Who Daniel Levy is able to bring through the doors at Hotspur Way could depend on where they finish at the end of the season and the future of Harry Kane.
If there is no Champions League football and Kane does end up leaving, then it will make Levy’s task more difficult to bring in that elite coach fans want at the club.
