Kieran Tierney has been speaking to Fantasy Premier League about his Arsenal teammates, after a recent spell of excellent form by the Gunners.
What’s the story?
Well, Tierney was quizzed on what his Arsenal teammates can offer to players who select them in Fantasy Football, specifically Aaron Ramsdale.
When asked about the £30m man, Tierney said: “He’s been brilliant. Everyone can see how good he’s been. He’s brought good energy, good motivation to the team as well, so I think he’s been a great signing.”
Make no mistake about it, Ramsdale has taken to life at Arsenal like a duck to water – he has been faultless in north London.
Many – including us, we must admit – questioned Mikel Arteta and Edu for signing him, after he suffered back-to-back relegations with Bournemouth and Sheffield United respectively.
However, Ramsdale doesn’t look fazed in the slightest by the step up.
In six Premier League appearances for Arsenal, the 23-year-old has kept three clean sheets while conceding just four goals.
Arsenal did superbly to find Ederson 2.0 in Aaron Ramsdale

Another thing we must admit about Ramsdale is that we didn’t know just how good he was with his feet – he’s like Ederson 2.0.
In his six Premier League appearances so far, it’s felt like the Gunners have Andrea Pirlo in between the sticks at times.
Ramsdale has proven to have all sorts of passes in his locker, whether it be a driven low pass, or an inch-perfect ping over the opposition.
Having a goalkeeper like this opens so many doors for Arsenal and Arteta.

For a start, it eases the backline as they can now trust the man behind them, whereas nobody looked confident in Bernd Leno whatsoever.
Ramsdale’s technical ability also allows Arteta to play numerous styles of play, whether he wants to go long over the opponent, or build from the back.
Arteta and Edu, take a bow – Ramsdale was a superb addition.
