TalkSPORT pundit Jame O’Hara has praised Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale for his performance against Manchester City in the FA Community Shield on Sunday.
The former Tottenham Hotspur player has said on talkSPORT (7:08pm, August 6, 2023) that Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale played brilliantly against Manchester City at Wembley Stadium.
Ramsdale made some important saves during normal time and was the hero for Arsenal in the penalty shootout.

O’Hara was impressed with the £120,000-a-week (The Daily Mail) goalkeeper and does not think that Arsenal need to sign David Raya.
According to 90min, Arsenal are trying to sign Spain international goalkeeper Raya from London and Premier League rivals Brentford in the summer transfer window.

The Bees reportedly want £40 million in transfer fees for Raya.
O’Hara said: “I thought Ramsdale was brilliant today, made two massive saves to keep you in the game. Then he is good at penalties.
“I don’t think you need another keeper. If you are going to spend £40 million on someone, why don’t you go and spend it on a striker?”
Like Jamie O’Hara, we do not think that Arsenal need to sign David Raya.
However, it seems that the Gunners are determined to sign the Brentford star in the summer transfer window.
It will not have any adverse effect on the team, though.
After all, Raya is a very good goalkeeper who would make the Arsenal squad better.
The presence of Raya would also make Ramsdale raise his game and get even better.
While Ramsdale is a very good goalkeeper, he does make mistakes.
Perhaps having Raya trying to take away his spot in the Arsenal first team would make Ramsdale push himself even more.
