Newcastle United fans have enjoyed watching a clip of Joe Willock reviewing Unai Emery’s management style from back in his Arsenal days.
Emery to Newcastle?
Willock and Emery worked together at the Emirates Stadium and it seems that the pair could be reunited on Tyneside soon.
Emery actually didn’t give Willock much of a chance at Arsenal, but one of the rare starting chances that the youngster was given was against Newcastle at St. James’ Park.
On that occasion Willock charged back to make a sliding tackle, as he won possession back for the Gunners.
And Emery was sent wild on the touchline, as he visibly celebrated the commitment.
In the video clip Willock can be seen reacting to Emery’s actions, and he said: “So much passion. It shows how much passion the manager has for small, small things in the game.
“It’s not a goal or a chance but it’s a big thing for him and it shows.”
The footage has only helped Newcastle fans become even more behind Emery becoming their new boss.
Emery to arrive?
It seems that Newcastle supporters could well get their wish sooner rather than later.
The Telegraph have suggested that Emery could be in place before the end of the week, however more doubts have emerged throughout the day.
There has been suggestions that Emery may not be entirely convinced by the Magpies’ proposal, although Newcastle do still have some time to persuade him to come before their next game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
