Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Scott Arfield after he scored the winner in last night’s 3-2 Europa League win over Standard Liege.
The former Burnley man timed his run perfectly to latch onto Ryan Kent’s cutback, before slotting a confident finish past Arnaud Bodart.
Aside from his match-winning strike, SofaScore shows that the Canadian had a fine game.
The 32-year-old recorded one key pass and came away from Ibrox with a passing accuracy of 81%.
Additionally, Arfield recorded two interceptions and won one aerial duel, while also completing one successful dribble as well.

The Livingston-born midfielder had three shots off target too, although it was the one effort which he aimed on target that earned Rangers all three points.
Arfield now has seven goals and five assists in all competitions this season.
His importance to Steven Gerrard is evident for all to see. With plenty of experience under his belt, the 19-cap Canada international is enjoying somewhat of an Indian summer in Glasgow.

Rangers have now progressed into the Europa League knockout phases, and are yet to lose a game in the competition this term.
Gerrard’s men have won three and drawn two of their five games in Europe, and have progressed out of Group D alongside Benfica.
