Speaking on Sky Sports News (20/4/21 10:45AM), Jermaine Beckford has been full of praise for Leeds United midfielder Tyler Roberts.
The former Leeds man was dissecting the Whites’ performance against Liverpool on Monday evening, and he said that Roberts was brilliant again, and unlucky to not get his name on the scoresheet.
“Tyler Roberts, brilliant again, he’s showing a lot of energy, a lot of concentration in the middle of the park as well, a lot of energy. He was unlucky not to have scored as well, he just needed a little more composure to slide the ball past Alisson rather than putting his laces through it,” Beckford said.

The former Whites striker is spot on.
Watching Roberts, you can tell he’s bought into Bielsa’s way of playing, and he is showing a lot of energy.
However, that end product is missing, but with Roberts being just 22 years old, that level of maturity and composure in front of goal may come in time.
One thing is for sure, the Welshman has been improving in recent weeks, and we can only hope that this continues to be the case.
