Leeds United, Stoke City and Brighton and Hove Albion are reportedly interested in Matthew Clarke of Portsmouth.

It has been reported that Premier League club Brighton are strong contenders to sign Clarke from Portsmouth in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that the race to secure the services of the 22-year-old central defender is intense.
According to The Times, Leeds and Stoke in the Championship are interested in the youngster, who is valued at £4 million.

Missing out
Brighton are in the Premier League, and the Seagulls will surely be more appealing to Clarke than Leeds and Stoke.
Moreover, the Seagulls will also able to cough up the £4m that Portsmouth reportedly want.
Clarke, who joined Portsmouth in 2016 after leaving Ipswich Town, was one of the best players in League One this season and was a key figure in his team finishing in the playoffs.
It is hard to see Clarke stay at Portsmouth next season given reported interest in him from Brighton, Leeds and Stoke.
