Midfielder Kacper Kozlowski has secured another loan move away from Brighton.

Brighton have officially confirmed the departure of Kacper Kozlowski, who has re-joined Vitesse Arnhem on loan for the 2023/24 season.

Kozlowski spent last season with the Dutch outfit too, and gained lots of valuable experience as he made himself a fixture of the Arnhem first team squad.

Brighton, who signed Kozlowski in January 2022, will be keeping a very close eye on how the 19-year-old continues to progress in the Eredivisie.

The Seagulls’ technical director, David Weir, has given his verdict on the teenagers return to the Netherlands, saying, “Kacper enjoyed a good season with Vitesse last season and it makes sense for him to continue his time there…there’s that familiarity that can hopefully help him hit the ground running…our loans team will monitor his progress closely.”

Who is Kacper Kozlowski?

Kozlowski made history in 2020 when he became the youngest ever player to play at a European Championships. His record-breaking moment in the spotlight came when he was introduced as a substitute for Poland against Spain. The youngster has made six senior international appearances in total.

However, he has yet to make an appearance for Brighton. With Alexis Mac Allister having moved on this summer, and Moises Caicedo also edging towards an exit, the Seagulls will have a very different looking midfield in the near future. Kozlowski will hope to be able to do enough during this loan spell to convince Roberto De Zerbi that he deserves consideration for a role in the middle of the park for Brighton.
