Brighton & Hove Albion are now 3/1 to sign the former Tottenham Hotspur striker with Sky Bet.
Brighton & Hove Albion are now the 3/1 second favourites with Sky Bet to be Robbie Keane’s next club.
Keane is a free agent after leaving Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of the Major League Soccer season, but has not been formally linked with a move to Brighton, who are a new name on Sky Bet’s list of front-runners.
The Seagulls are currently flying in the Championship, where they lead second-place Newcastle United by two points with a game in hand.

However, it would certainly not hurt their cause to have a player of Keane’s calibre on board, with the 36-year-old having represented a string of top sides including Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Inter Milan and scored close to 300 club career goals.
Robbie Keane after signing for Tottenham
Brighton boss Chris Hughton was Spurs assistant throughout much of Keane’s first spell at White Hart Lane, and a reunion on the south coast is perhaps not beyond the realms of possibility.
League of Ireland side Shamrock Rovers remain the favourites to sign the 146-cap international, with odds of 5/4.
Keane scored more goals for Tottenham (123) than any of his other clubs.
Could Keane reunite with his former Spurs assistant boss at Brighton this season?
